Rappahannock’s Water and Sewer Authority was unable to conduct its monthly business last Thursday evening because too few members were present for a quorum.
Present were members Carson Johnson and Charles K. Estes. The chairman, Martin Woodard, was out of town, and members Eugene Leggett and James E. Swindler III did not come.
While waiting to see if another member would appear, Mr. Johnson noted that they had correspondence from Alex Sharp requesting that his rates be lowered during the time his apple storage operation was closed for the season.
