Highland School is for grades K through 8. The school is located in Warrenton on Route 17 adjacent to the shopping center. Transportation is provided from Amissville. For more details call headmaster William Osier at 347-1221. 1

The Culpeper Christian School has classes for K through 9. It is currently located at 118 N. East Street in Culpeper. The new school on Old Rixeyville Road is scheduled for completion for the fall term. They use the A Beka Book. The school opened in 1976. No transportation from Amissville is provided. Landfill schedule for Rappahannock County is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day except Wednesdays and Sundays when it is closed. Continue to save your recyclable items. In Culpeper, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day except Wednesdays and Sundays when it is closed; however, bagged trash may be left in dumpsters outside the gate on Wednesdays and Sundays.
