CCLC OFFERS FINGERPRINTING of the children enrolled at CCLC. The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Department supplied employees to accomplish the task. Reactions to the process differ. At top, Benjamin Dodson is intent on getting his finger in the right place, as Dispatcher Sheila Scott guides the way and Kim Hudson offers encouragement. Later, Victoria Hudson came back to watch as Austin Carney takes his turn (bottom left). At bottom right, Jailer Mitch Hitt does his best to make Deanna Melton feel at ease, but the young lady still isn’t sure. Parents were given the only copy of the fingerprint record, which can be used later for identification in an emergency.
