Wednesday the 25th, the last day of review before exams. Both Thursday and Friday the absence list showed 27 students out, and for Monday’s exams the list had grown to 39.
Then on Tuesday, with exams over for most students, 57 students were out and on Wednesday the absence list was the largest so far, with 59 names on it.
Meanwhile teachers also were struggling to make it through the exam period. For Thursday’s exams all teachers were present, but by Friday three teachers were out, and a substitute was provided for only one of them.
