Stony Man gets its name from its resemblance to a stony face, which can be clearly seen from Skyline Drive as you approach from the north. Anyone interested in this hike should meet at 9 a.m. at the Parks and Recreation parking lot, 62 Culpeper Street in Warrenton, or make arrangements to meet the club at the start of the hill.
