Amissville TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets weekly on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. Annual fee is $12. Weekly dues are fifty cents. TOPS is a support group assisting meihbers in reaching and maintaining their ideal weight as prescribed by their personal physician.

Members are reminded that March 1 is the deadline to purchase tickets to attend the annual Area Recognition Day (ARD) to be held at Crystal City’s Hyatt Regency on April 21 and 22. Cost is $25. For more details call Cathy at 937-5024.

The Amissville Homemakers Club meets the first Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Amissville Baptist Church. Last Monday the group eryoyed a discussion by Rappahannock Extension Agent Sandra Richardson on preventing heart disease in celebration of Heart Month.
