we saw the Secret Service men checking the manhole covers and sewers.

Some of us saw George Bush take the oath of office as our 41st President. Others could not see over the crowd. We saw Ronald and Nancy Reagan leave by helicopter.

Our next stop was the mall at Union Station because some of us were just dying to spend our money. After we finished shopping, we went back to the Metro to ride bade to the Pentagon to get on the bus.

When we got back to the motel, different groups went to different places to eat. Then it was time for bed. But some of us had other ideas!

On Saturday we were up at 7 a.m. We got dressed and went to McDonald’s for breakfast. After we had eaten, we left to go sightseeing. We went to many different places. Some of us went to the space, history, or art museums. After lunch some of us went to the Botanical Gardens.

Then we returned to the bus and rode to the Hubert Humphrey Building. There we helped serve the elderly at the Inaugural Salute to Older Americans.

Then we left to go eat and were on our way home!
