Jacob Jenkins

Jacob Henry Jenkins, 76, of Berryville died Feb. 2 at his home.

Mr. Jenkins was bom Feb. 26, 1912, in Rappahannock CountyjJJie son of the late Peyton an(MLaura Dodson Jenkins. He was retire# from H.B. Byrd Inc. He was a member of the Guiding Light Gospel Church of Winchester.

Surviving are his wife, Susie Ellen Jenkins Jenkins; five sons, Jacob Manuel Jenkins, Middletown, L. Floyd Jenkins, Henry Frank Jenkins and James Mitchell Jenkins, all of Berry ville and John Marshall Jenkins, Winchester; two daughters, Rachel May Lieght, Petaluma, Calif., and Shirley Ann Young, Berryville; two brothers, Edward Jenkins, Washington and Ashby Jenkins, Front Royal; three sisters, Mammy Rutherford, Sperryville and Alla Burke and Anna Welch, both of Manassas; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at the Enders Funeral Home in Berry ville with the Rev. Donald L. Scruggs officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville.

Pallbearers were Manuel W. Jenkins, Floyd J. Jenkins, Jimmy R. Young Jr., Michael S. Young, John M. Jenkins and Robert Jenkins.

Ethel Harrison

Ethel A. Harrison died Feb. 3 at the Northern Virginia Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, George R. Harrison; two daughters, Deborah Ann and Nancy Marie Harrison, both of Arlington; one son, George Robert Harrison Jr., Arlington; one sister, Mary Ella Frye, Sperryville; three brothers, George W. Aylor, Boston, Richard Aylor, Washington, D.C., and Lewis E. Aylor, Falls Church; one granddaughter, Rochelle Antionette Harrison, Ariingtonrtwo -sistersdn-law, Mary Belle and Virginia E. Aylor; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville. The Rev. George Dean officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
