To the editor:
Recently, the Northern Virginia rfhraty printed a letter from a Mr. Paul Fitzsimmons. Mr. Fitzsimmons Igggsrently does not like a certain class of people who happen to be lawyers. According to him we are all “numb-skulls,” and have no business running for the General Assembly.
Well Mr. Fitzsimmons, I am proud to be a lawyer. I worked very hard to become one, and as a lawyer I have been privileged to pursue good works — such as fighting crime, improving the community and helping people solve their individual problems — all of which I have done as Commonwealth’s Attorney, Front Royal Town Attorney and as a private practitioner. Being a lawyer is only an educational accomplishment. It’s what you do with your education that determines your worth.
