The new “Welcome to Washington” brochure, a two-page guide to places of interest in the nation’s capital, has been updated for 1989 and is now available to Seventh District constituents through the congressional offices of U.S. Rep. D. French Slaughter Jr. (R, Va.).
The pamphlet contains information on historic sites, galleries, museums and Washington theater, as well as the newly-refurbished Union Station.
Rep. Slaughter’s constituents may obtain the pamphlet by calling or writing to one of the four congressional offices in Charlottesville, Culpeper, Fredericksburg and Winchester, or his Washington, D.C., office.
