Lenten service continues The community Lenten series, sponsored by five area churches concludes next Wednesday, March 15. Beginning with a potluck dinner at 6:15 p.m., the gathering will conclude with a short inspirational lesson on “Stewardship,” delivered by the Rev. Larry Hovis. The service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, and the public is invited to bring a covered dish and enjoy the fellowship.
Spaghetti dinner The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, April 1 at the fire hall, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door only.
