Fee day set Aug. 31
The Rappahannock County public schools, which begin the school year on Tuesday, Sept. 5, will have an early release time at 2 p.m. that day. The schools will hold Fee Day, when students may pick up ^ textbooks, locker assignments and take care of other matters, on Thursday, Aug. 31 from 1:30-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. See page 14 for a complete list of this year's fees.
Eddy Dalton to visit
State Senator Eddy Dalton, Republican candidate for Lt. Governor, will visit Rappahannock County next Thursday, Aug. 24. Mrs. Dalton will arrive at the courthouse at 11 a.m., and speak with ; residents there before taking a tour of the • Town of Washington. Residents are invited ; t6 come and talk with Mrs. Dalton.
