Ted Kreh of Rixeyville is one of the great old-time country piusic singers and mandolin players around. Ted has a rich background in gospel and country music of Kentucky and Virginia and has a wealth of songs and stories from about fifty years of performing. Ted is currently leader of the bluegrass band The Shenandoah Travelers.
The lawn of the historic Warren Green Hotel is a beautiful setting to hear a concert. People attending the concerts are encouraged to contribute tow'ards the cost of the evening. There is plenty of parking avilable, and downtown streets, are closed to vehicular traffic during the concert. Local ordinances prohibit the use of alcohol and the bringing of animals to the concerts.
Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic if they like. Delicious homemade refreshments will often be available at intermission, prepared by local community organizations.
