Friends of the Shenandoah River Is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Shenandoah River and it's main tributary, the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, so that future generations may continue to enjoy the bounty of this magnificent river. We, as citizens, are now determined to shoulder our responsibility to protect and improve the quality of our river for many generations to come. We can no longer turn our heads and expect the government to do this for us. As a volunteer citizen's organization with many members, we can greatly assist in doing a more thorough job.
