Several new classes will be offered at Rappahannock County High School this school year. Most were made possible by the change to a seven-period day.
Six students will be taking Advanced Placement English. This course is a rigorous study of the great works of Western literature, with readings ranging from Oedipus Rex through Crime and Punishment to George Orwell’s 1984. The advanced English course is being taught through the school’s new “electronic classroom.”
