The Rappahannock Electric Coi Operative will hold its annual membership meeting on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Spotsylvania High School.
As a service to its members, REC has scheduled its second ealth Fair in conjunction with the annual meeting. Many free health screenings and information centers, including cholesterol testing, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart, vision and cancer information, will be available to all Cooperative members and their family members over eighteen • years of age.
New this year is the offering of mammogram service by the Allison 1 Breast Cancer Center in Richmond. A special Health Fair rate of only $50 has been arranged for REC i members.
REC Executive Vice President and General Manager, Cecil E. Viyerette Jr., said “We are pleased to offer these health services to our members in one convenient location again this year. The response was so great last year that our Board felt it important to continue the Health Fair with an expanded service offering.” The Health Fair will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. , A buffet brunch, prepared and ; served by the Culinary Arts Department of the Spotsylvania Vocational vCenter, will be available from 9:30 - a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Musical entertain
