ment will be provided from 11 a.m. to noon by the renowned blues artist, John Cephus of Bowling Green. Charis’ Dance Studio of Fredericksburg will present a program of music and dance following John Cephus.
Annual meeting registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with the business session to follow at 1 p.m. Cooperative members will elect four directors to serve three-year terms on the REC Board. R. Lindsay Gordon III, REC President, and Cecil E. Viverette Jr., will review the Cooperative’s 1988 performance in their reports to the membership.
All phases of the business will be open for discussion, including the organization of R.E. Communications Inc. as a subsidiary to provide satellite television equipment and programming to Cooperative members. A complete operating satellite system will be on display for members to inspect.
The program will conclude with the awarding of door prizes to some attendees. The REC Board of Directors invites all Cooperative members to take advantage of these free health services and to participate in their organization’s Annual Meeting.
