Robert Parrish, one of the LOMP partners, told the planners the group intends to comply with all the commission’s requests. He asked if the planners would recommend approval “contingent on tying up the loose ends. Particularly since you won’t meet for two months, we are under some constraints in financing.”
“We have all this informa- ■ tion," he explained, “and we fully intend to comply with the requirements of the Planning Commission.”
However, he added, Dean Morehouse, another partner, was unable to get back into town for the meeting. The partnership includes Mr. Parrish and his wife Susan, Mr. Morehouse and his wife Linda, Patrick O’Connell and Reinhardt Lynch, the owners of The Inn at Little Washington.
Mr. Wickens replied that, under the ordinance, the planners “must act tonight” or the application would receive approval by default. “I don’t want to vote ‘if when we don’t meet before the ‘if happens.”
