PUBLIC HEARING: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY ZONING SUBDIVISION ORDINANCES On Wednesday, January 3, 1989, the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County will consider a series of proposed amendments to the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance and to the Rappahannock County Subdivision Ordinance. The amendments pertain to road construction standards and requirements for public road right of ways as a prerequisite for certain subdivisions. Family Subdivision road requirements would not be altered under these proposed amendments. The following amendments to the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance shall be considered: I. Amend Section 8.3-1 B., by striking the words: “...or which are expressly approved in conjunction with a special exception permit." II. Amend Section 8.3-1 C., by striking entire section and rewriting to read: Family Subdivision only. III. Amend Section 8.3-2 B., by striking the words: "...unless expressly approved in conjunction with a special exception permit.” IV. Amend Section 8.3-3 B., striking the words: “...C of the 1973" * V. Amend Section 3.5-1 by adding a new Section F. Subdivision of land into less than twenty-five (25) acre lots may be allowed (see other applicable provisions of this Ordinance and of the Rappahannock County Subdivision Ordinance) only where public road right-of-ways(s) are fifty (50) feet in width from the property to be divided to a State Primary Highway. The following are amendments to the Rappahannock County Subdivision Ordinance: I. Add a new Section, to read: 4.28 Subdivision of land into less than twenty-five (25) acre lots may be allowed (see other applicable provisions of this Ordinance and of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance) only where public road right-of-way(s) fifty (50) feet in width from the property to be divided to a State Primary Highway. II. Amend Appendix by changing “12’-minimum width" to "20’ minimum width” for Travel way. III. Amend Appendix by adding new line after “Crown”, to read: Specified Road Material 9” of 21 -A Crusher run The Rappahannock County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider these proposed amendments on Wednesday, December 20,1989, at 7:30 p.m., at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.
