The Washington Town Council wall hold its regular monthly meeting, 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the courthouse. The following items are set for the council’s consideration, although a “super-majority” of five affirmative votes will allow additional items to be placed on the agenda at the meeting.

Public hearing

• An ordinance amendment to allow for inspections of connections to the town water system within individual, privately owned homes by an authorized representative of the town water authority. This is pursuant to regulations governing cross-connection and backflow prevention controls for the town water system.
