The nine members of the Administrative Review Team spent the rest of the week interviewing administrators, special education teachers, Chapter One teachers and the guidance director and librarian at the elementary school, checking numerous records and making classroom visits in the elementary school. They left to the High School Visiting . Team the jobs of interviewing the guidance and library staff there and visiting high school classrooms.
In preparation for the team’s visit, the high school staff had spent much of last year and this preparing a self-study. It includes a description of the community, a statement of philosophy, an analysis of the overall curriculum, auxiliary services, guidance services, student activities, the facilities, the staff and administration and the strengths and weaknesses of each department.
