Another group of recommendations concerned the physical plant. With the addition complete, the school still finds itself short of storage space. In some cases areas that were intended for storage were instead used as classrooms; also, several storage areas are simply empty spaces in need of shelving and cabinet work.
They also recommended that the school system consider air-conditioning the building and renovating the earth-science room to make a more adequate laboratory. Other recommendations concerning the physical plant were to try to provide even, controllable heat to all classrooms, hot water where needed when the furnace is not operating and more lighting, especially in part of the shop room.
Another series of recommendations concerns the repair and replacement of equipment, and acquiring more equipment. Additional computers were recommended for technology education, social studies and business education. The report recommends a larger budget and a more organized system to repair and replace equipment,
Other recommendations were that a guidance counsellor be employed to work during the month of July, and more career counselling.
