Scholarship available
Rappahannock High School students planning to further their educations after graduation should apply for three grants being disbursed through the Francis J. Leonard Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Rappahannock County Garden Club.
The club gives out one $1,500 grant and two $400 grants each year.
To be eligible you must be a resident of the county, have been accepted by an accredited school, demonstrate financial need and be recommended by three nonrelative county residents.
Applications are available at the Guidance Office and are due April 12.
County stickers on sale
County stickers for vehicles are on currently on sale.
New stickers must be on vehicles by May 1.
They cost $20 and are available at the Treasurer's Office in Washington.
