Elementary school principal Bemie Chesshir judged the Science Fair a success.
“It’s been a very hectic two days,” he said at the awards assembly Friday afternoon. “There were three times as many entries as last year. There are no winners and losers. If you had a project out there, you are a winner.”
Following the county fair, 24 students will go on to compete at the regional science fair at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville March 25-27.
