• Timothy Boyd Banton, 31, of Culpeper (formerly of Sperryville) was sentenced to fiye years in prison for driving after having been declared a habitual offender.
Mr. Banton was arrested April 28, 1990, less than three miles from his former home in Sperryville in a car with no tags. He testified Monday that he was trying to sell the car to his passengers.
Mr. Banton has twice served time in prison for driving suspended.
