Navy Seaman recruit Julian C. Groves, son of Julia A. and Mary G. Groves of Washington, has completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, 111.
A 1990 graduate of Rappahannock High School, Sperryville, he joined the Navy in November 1990.

Del. Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. has recently received a copy of the Annual Report , on Substance Abuse Activities, prepared by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.
This report focuses especially on research which examines the efficacy of the treatment of alcohol and other drug abuse. It also provides an extensive discussion of the varied substance abuse activities funded by the Department.
