have even seen quite a few pictures of prayer being offered (and I’ve done quite a bit myself) for the troops in the Persian Gulf. All of these and more have certainly been answered. My question now is, “What now?”
Do we just forget about praying? I pray not. Please keep the church prayer sessions, the group prayer meeting and especially the home prayers going. He is so worthy to be praised in war and peace.
Those same prayers that were prayed for the ending of the war (and don’t think for one minute President Bush wasn’t praying too) can also end the war on drugs, murder and any other problems facing us.
Think about these things as a small example for needing continued prayer:
1. The disagreeable weather that put a damper on the fighting.
2. Shifting of the sand that revealed the location of so many land mines that had been set for our troops.
3. The voluntary surrender of thousands of the enemy troops.
But mostly think of the joy, the tears and happiness of the families waiting for the return of their sons and daughters and keep the praying going.

To the Editor:
Your use of our children’s trout story on March 7 was appreciated, not only by us but by your readers. This I know because I received two phone calls Thursday morning almost as soon as the paper was delivered.
No reason for the calls really, because all the needed info was in your note. They seemed to want only to chat about what a good thing this was, etc.
Both callers were ladies, incidentally. One caller did want to know if she needed a license just to watch.
