The county may have a cable TV francise agreement by the end of the month.
County Administrator John McCarthy told the Board of Supervisors at its meeting Monday that Adelphia Communications representatives said they would soon have their attorneys’ response to the county’s proposed francise agreement.
Once that is received Mr. McCarthy said he will meet with County Attorney Peter Luke, Town Attorney Frank Reynolds and representatives of Adelphia to work out the agreement. He said he hoped it would be ready to present to the supervisors before the new fiscal year begins.
