Outstanding Service Musician Award along with other winners of the Culpeper County High School Band awards. Candy plans to attend Ferrum College in the fall.

Many from our area attended the belated party held on Memorial Day to honor birthdays and the anniversary of Rev. and Mrs. L. D. Savage with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Whorton as hosts.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. George Butler were Miss Tara Thornhill of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler and Paul, Maurice Lee Butler and friend Carol and Mrs. Lottie Johnston. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda, Mrs. Buddy Thornhill, Mrs. William Gibbs and Mrs. Cary Thornhill.
