Class plans reunion
A meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 23 at the Flint Hill fire hall to finalize plans for Rappahannock High class of 1981 10th year reunion. All interested alumni are encouraged to attend. For more information call Rhonda Foster Breeden at 703-825-5321.
Monthly meeting
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 in the library of the Lord Culpeper Building, 401 South Main St., Culpeper.

Ole Hollow reunion
Families, friends and community members are invited to attend the annual Ole Hollow reunion at noon on Sunday, June 30 at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church nekr Sperryville. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a beverage. For more information call Ruby Dwyer at 987-8336.
Father's Day breakfast
Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor an all-you-caneat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16 at the fire hall. The menu will consist of bacon, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, potatoes and other breakfast delights. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children eight and under.
Tennis clinic
A tennis clinic will be held the last two weeks in June at the Rappahannock Park. Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced will be available. Watch this column for additional information.
CSC Transit closed
CSC Transit will not operate on Monday, June 10, an agency InService Day. CSC Transit is a program of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board.
Representative to visit
Ben Dutton, a representative of Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr., (7th-Va.), will visit Rappahannock County on Wednesday, June 12.
He will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Veterans Administration, etc.
Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions on matters of concern, particularly national topics or issues before the U.S. Congress.
He will be at the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington from 10:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Planning meeting
There will be a 4-H Day Camp planning meeting at 3:30 p.m. on June 6. This will be the last planning meeting for Day Camp Instructors to finalize plans for 4-H Day Camp which will be held June 24-28. The E.H. Clubs are providing cookies for snacks. The schedule is Monday, June 24 at Flint Hill, Tuesday, June 26 at H.O.M.E. and Wednesay, June 28 at Amissville.
Register for 4-H camp
The county Extension office is accepting registrations for the 4-H Overnight Camp schedule for July 7-11. The camp will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center located outside Front Royal and will include educational workshops, swimming, and other recreational activities. The Overnight Camp is for youngsters ages 9-13. The cost is $80. Reservations must be made by June 15. Forty spaces are available, and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Forms are avaiable at the Extension office.
