worlds in Rappahannock. Thank you all, who work with and for our children, who are, after all, our most precious resources.

Parents, let’s continue to demonstrate our appreciation and support for our schools by a much better turnout for PTO meetings next year. New PTO President Greg Robertson and the PTO Board have wonderful ideas for new directions toward excellence at the school, and we need every parent, from all walks of life, to work with teachers and other parents, sharing in the fun of supporting our children.

Additionally, the Rappahannock Educational Foundation, an inspired fundraising idea conceived recently by Vinnie Carney and Dave Gangel, is very deserving of our donations and support. The foundation will make donated money available for the immediate benefit of our students. It will enable our kids to have some of the extras the schools just can’t afford.

Let’s all work together with our excellent public schools to keep Rappahannock as beautiful a place to go to school as it is in which to live.
