NSDAR luncheon planned
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, will gather for a luncheon meeting at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 at the Culpeper Country Club in Culpeper. Cost of the luncheon will be $8.50. Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear Jr. will give a video presentation of the DAR 100th Continental Congress held in Washington in April. Previous to the meeting, at 10:30 a.m. members and friends will meet at the Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery in Madison to mark the grave of Virginia Rucker Crigler, former Regent, who passed away last November.
Baccalaureate service
The baccalaureate service for Rappahannock High’s class of 1991 will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 in the high school auditorium. Featured speaker will be Rev. Jennings Hobson. Refreshments will be provided by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers.
Horse show planned
A horse show will be held at Old Mill Stables starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. For more information call Moody Aylor at 9878215.
