At the McGlothlin reunion on Saturday, June 1 persons honored included Rev. C.M. McGlothlin, most children present and oldest person; Reves and Dot Childress, longest married couple; Joey Taylor, youngest; Rev. and Mrs. Jerry Schloe, greatest distance traveled; Mrs. Edith Wright, special achievement/event in past year for surviving the tornado1 that hit Remington; also, she was named Director of Instruction for Fauquier schools following 36 years as an educator, inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Grundy High School, and was named in the Marquis Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.

It’s nice to see cooler temperatures return following May’s recordbreaking temps with 11 days in the 90s. I saw a fawn Saturday night that looked like a rabbit, it was so small. It was in the driveway aginst the fence. Please be careful making hay during this time.
