In a bizarre turn of events at Wakefield School this month, the private school’s co-founder, Pamela Lynn, sued the Board of Directors and two Warrenton lawyers.
Just days later, she did an about-face and dropped the suit, then announced at a meeting of the Wakefield Parents’ Association (WPA) that, as of July 1, the school will be evicted from the property it occupies on U.S. 522 just north of Flint Hill.
Mrs. Lynn, a seventh-grade teacher at the school and former headmistress, accused the two lawyers, William Bassett and Robert Miller, of “grand larceny” from the school during a meeting of the WPA, according to
