VACANCY and APPOINTMENT
In accordance with §15.1-708 and §22.1-29.1 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended), the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice that on Monday, June 24,1991, a public hearing will be held to consider an appointment to the Rappahannock County School Board. The unexpired School Board position for Piedmont District will be considered, the position being vacated by the resignation of Dorothy C. Butler. The term will run until June 30,1992. The Board of Supervisors shall take public comment on any proposed candidate for the position, who must be a qualified voter and bona fide resident of Piedmont District. The Board of Supervisors shall make appointment to fill this vacancy at their regular meeting on July .1, 1991. No nominee or applicant whose name was not considered at the public hearing may be appointed.
