Alice Wood
Mrs. Alice Wood, 71, of Washington, died Thursday, June 6 at her residence.
Mrs. Wood was bom March 17, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles G. and Grace Bradley Reid. Her husband was the late F. Downing Wood. She was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Neville Hall of Camilla, Ga., Mrs. Alice Smith of Albany, Ga., Mrs. Nancy Reeve, Mrs. Mary Bailey and Mrs. Frances Conover, all of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Mary R. Miller of Flint Hill and Mrs. Gladys W. Bowie of of Culpeper; two brothers, Joseph R. Reid of McLean and Thomas B. Reid of Bartlesville, Okla.; one sister-in-law, Miss Mary M. Wood of Washington; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, June 8 at the family cemetery at Sunnyside Orchard in Washington. Rev. John Burke and Rev. Darrell Bare officiating.

James Ryan
James Kahlert Ryan, 84, of Rixeyville, died Wednesday, June 5 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ryan was bom July 7, 1906 in Washington, D.C., the.son of the late James and Rose Anna Kahlert Ryan. He was retired from civil service.
Survivors include his wife, Margie L. Ryan of Rixeyville; two daughters, Jane Ryan and Carol Ryan, both of San Diego, Calif.; one son, John Law of Haywood; one sister, Rosa Crump of Mt. Rainer, Md.; one brother, John E. Ryan of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Saturday, June 8 at Etlan Cemetery with the Rev. Patricia Murphy officiating.

Robert Sisk
Robert Lee Sisk, 85, of Warrenton, died Friday, June 7 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom in Rappahannock County on July 12, 1905.
He was a farmer and a carpenter. He formerly owned a grocery store in Woodville for several years. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Manassas.
Survivors include his wife, Emma F. Sisk of Warrenton; six daughters, Helen Hitt of Catlett, Virginia Dodson of Rochelle, Doris Fincham and Peggy Tharp, both of Warrenton, Adele Palmer of Manassas and Doris Reel of Goldvein; two 90ns, Ernest Sisk of Manassas and Ivan Sisk of Gainesville; 28 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Sisk.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 9 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, with the Rev. Willie Heflin officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Roy Johnson, Jeff Fincham, Dave Fincham Jr., Rick Fincham, Lloyd Dodson and Dan Dodson.
