Wakefield School in Huntly re cently held the annual athletic ban quet to honor athletes who competec on the school’s varsity and junioi varsity teams. The event is sponsored by the Wakefield Parents’ As sociation and took place at th< Bowling Green Country Club ir Front Royal.
In addition, the school has beer notified that two students were named to the Delaney Athletic Tournament all-conference team in girls soccer.
Stephanie Tomeden of Flint Hill and Heidi Utz of Warrenton were awarded the honor by a vote of the coaches whose teams comprise the conference. It represents the first time that the Wakefield girls’ soccer team has been so honored.
