Even though Mr. Gore lives ii Culpeper, he is an active member o the Sperryville Volunteer Rescu< Squad and has been president for 2( of its 22 years.
“He has invaluable administra tive ability,” five-year veterai squad member Lou Hatter said o Mr. Gore’s position.
“He does a great deal of the pa per work and fills the applications’ any organization must accomplish for existence, Mr. Hatter said.
“He attends organizational meet ings and is on the board of governors of the Virginia Association of Volun teer Resuce Squads,” he said, add ing while he does not “go out or calls” he is a valuable member of th« squad.
