A 16th birthday cookout party was held for Miss Angie Jenkins on Friday night at Horseshoe Hills Park and Picnic area.

Those helping her to celebrate were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie L. Jenkins, Donna and Allen of Nethers Mill, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen, Miss Lisa Sisk and Emily Jenkins and Bobby, all of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Buracker, Miss Linda Smoot, Kenneth Baldwin, Jack Pullen, Tony Wayland, Miss Amy Wharton, Richard Jenkins, Miss Lisa Wharton, Ronnie Dodson and Shaumby Fuller, all local.

Angie received many nice gifts.

Mrs. Shirley Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. Catherine Brown. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Payne in Warrenton on Saturday
