Kemember next week the Flint Hill Firemen’s annual carnival will begin on Wednesday evening with ride all night for one low price. The grand parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with Miss Virginia Sheri Huffman and many floats, bands, fire fighting and rescue squads, antique cars and many other entries.
Friday evening music will be featured in two shows at 7:45 and 10 p.m. and will feature the band Shenandoah.
Saturday the awarding of the grand prize a 1991 Ford Festiva, registered black angus, two seaons tickets to Washington Redskin home games for 1991, living room furniture, handmade quilt, hand painted Rappahannock “Limited Edition” picture and more.
So plan now to come, bring the family and join the fun.

Mrs. Linnie Cummings who continues a patient with a broken leg at Warren Memorial Hospital is reported to be improving and hopefully will be released this week.
