NOTICE OF HEARING
Pursuant to Section 15.1-1260 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Rappahannock County Water 8e Sewer Authority will hold a public hearing on October 1, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, Viiginia, to consider the adoption of amendments to the ordinance establishing rates, fees and charges, including hook-up fees, relating to the Sperryville Sewer System.
The Rappahannock County Water 8c Sewer Authority at meetings on May 14, 1991, and July 11, 1991 adopted, by resolution, a preliminary schedule fixing and classifying such rates, fees and charges. The proposed amendments to the schedule of rates, fees and charges are as follows:
1. Each owner of the residential and/or non-residential
improved property which shall be connected to and/
or served by the Sewer System shall pay sewer
rentals or charges ata rate of $46.50 per quarter per
equivalent dwelling unit.
2. The hook-up fee for owners being conected to and
served by the Sewer System shall be $200.00 plus
the costs of connection to a point approximately ten
(10) feet from a tap site designated by the Authority.
This notice is being published once a week for two (2) successive weeks in the Rappahannock news, a newspaper having a general circulation in the County of Rappahannock, Virginia, at least sixty (60) days prior to the date of the above described hearing. A copy of this notice is being mailed to the Clerk of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors. Upon adoption of these amendments, with appropriate modifications, if any, a copy of the same will be filed in the Office of the Clerkof the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County.
