Jesse Foster

Jesse James Foster, 103, of Flint Hill, died Thursday, July 18 in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.

The funeral was conducted Sunday, July 21 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Merlin W. Shorb. Burial was in the Flint Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Foster was born April 7, 1888, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Silas and Nettie Smoot Foster. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church. He was the husband of the late Annie Newcomer Foster.

Pallbearers Dale Welch, M.J. Welch, Randolph Foster, Guy Foster, Ed Foster and Lewis Moore Sr.

Honorary pallbearers were George Foster Jr., Donald Foster, James E. Foster, Rocky Foster and Lyle J. Foster Jr.

Eva Crews

Eva Ryan Crews, 90, of Jupiter, Fla. and Culpeper, widow of Eldred Jackson Crews, died Friday, July 19 at her home in Jupiter.

A native of Sperryville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Roberta Pullen Ryan.
