A good massage could relieve tension from stress, accidents, exercise or physical conditions such as pregnancy, age or illness.
Howard Weingarten, certified massage therapist, could offer just the relief necessary.
‘This is my second year in practice,” the young massage therapist said, sitting in his studio-home-office.
Besides working from his Huntly home, Mr. Weingarten offers massages upstairs at the Natural Marketplace in Warrenton and at the Downtown Athletic Club in Winchester.
“I do not like to come into the client’s home,” he said, adding while his hours are flexible he prefers the client to visit one of the studios.
“Then, they make the choice to be here,” he said, adding outside stimulation like phone calls, neighbors, children and television do not interfer.
“I also know I have the facilities and the space to work here,” he said ofhis studio. , “This is something that requires participation. I tell my clients that they are participating in their own healing,” he said, adding if one can not relax, then release from tension, stress and pain cannot be achieved.
