The Flint Hill Fireman s Carnival will be held at the carnival grounds next to the Fire Hall starting Wednesday, July 31 and running through Aug. 3. Among the attractions is a visit to the parade by Miss Virginia.
Events planned are:
• Wednesday, July 31: Rides between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. are one price for kids of all ages. Pay $4 and ride any or all rides as many times as desired.
• Thursday, Aug 1: The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the current Miss Virginia, Sheri Huffman. Also featured in the parade will be firefighting and rescue squads from the Northern Virginia area as well as Maryland. Bands, Shrine units, floats, Scouts, antique cars and a host of others will participate.
• Friday, Aug. 2: Music will be featured at two shows, one at 7:45
