Both parties hold rallies
Both the county Republicans and Democrats plan events on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Democratic Party will hold its • 1991 "Vtepuhe Candidates Rally" at 4:30 pip. at Montpelier, J.W. Fletcher's estate on Route 231 in the F.T. Valley. Candidates Jerry Wood) Tom Michie, Margaret Haynes and Kay Slaughter are expected to attend.
The Republican Committee invites all county residents to a rally, 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Candidates, including Del. Raymond R. "Andy" Guest and Del. George Allen, will attend.
Mills subject of libravy talk
The county's historic mills, and methods of research into their pasts, will be the subject of the Rappahannock Library's First Friday Series lecture, 8 p.m. Oct. 4.
A presentation, including slides, will be made.
