The town of Washington’s town council-planning commission study group in the Subdivision and Site Plan Ordinance meets at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Rappahannock Courthouse.

The ordinance revisions go to the Town Council at the Oct. 9 meeting.

• The Rappahannock Board of Supervisors meets at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Rappahannock Courthouse.

Agenda items at 2 p.m. include drought disaster relief, land-use value figures, drug policy, rural addition in Chester Gap, RAWL raffle permit, Social Services, VACO vacancy, and disposition of the old Amissville dumpster property.

At night public hearings concern the White Pines Partnership Subdivision special exception and the Maben rezoning.
