Leaving The Church Mouse I crossed the bridge into That Sperryville Emporium where the children can expend some excess energy participating in the parking lot games and parents and adults can eiyoy apple butter boiling, live entertainment and crafters from around the area displaying their goods.
If the sun has warmed the afternoon, take the walk down to the Sperryville Antique Market.
If you haven’t been to the market recently, it’s worth another trip.
If you’re looking for antique jewelry, check the display case. Heavy brochues, large dangling earrings, men’s rings or belt buckles fill the case. The prices are reasonable, the variety tremendous.
Maybe you’re looking for a toy for that not-so-little boy. A collector’s train set or tractor might do. An antique doll buggy or a solid wood table and chair set could make a little girl feel just like mom.
