The women’s doubles team of Jean Ellsworth and Dudley Semmes : and the men’s doubles team of Phil, lip Strange and Dick McNear won 1 their respective divisions during a round-robin tennis tournament last weekend.
The women beat out the team of Mary Latham and Jean Lillard in the ; finals of the tournament, sponsored ' by the Rappahannock Park Authority and held at the county park in Washington.
The men champs beat Uli Maeyer and Champ Carney in the finals.
The winners received engraved Jefferson cups and the finalist received engraved jiggers from McDaniel Jewelers in Front Royal.
