Asked what he has done in the land-use fight in Fauquier, Mr. Wood said one picks and chooses one’s issues, and that hasn’t been one of his.
“My position has always been planned growth in the service districts with services,” said Mr. Wood. In Fauquier County growth is supposed to be directed into service districts, but in most of them there is little or no sewer and water capacity.
