Late Tuesday Mr. Darby issued a statement claiming that questions on the survey included, “Bob Darby is a friend of the developer and is against impact fees,” “Bob Darby’s campaign is being bankrolled by developers such as Bill Hazel,” “Bob Darby wants to take away a woman’s right to an abortion.” According to Mr. Darby, “After each statement the caller asks, ‘Understanding this, would you vote for Jerry Wood or Bob Darby.’ ”
